- Dr. Summer Reiner, Associate Professor, The College at Brockport
- Dr. Robert Dobmeier, Associate Professor, The College at Brockport
- Dr. Thomas Hernandez, Professor, Department Chair, The College at Brockport
- Our speakers will discuss the importance of counselor identity within the profession, as well as their recent research on counselor identity published in the Journal of Counseling and Development in 2013.
6:45 – 7:30 PM Using Expressive Arts to Foster Client
Identity and Development
- Dr. Mardie Howe Rossi, LMHC, Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT)
- Dr. Rossi will provide hands-on counseling techniques and activities that can be utilized to help clients develop and discover their personal identity, while exploring barriers that may be inhibiting their growth and development.
7:30 – 8:00 PM Networking with Colleagues
This event is FREE to all American Counseling Association
members who live or work in New York State, and ACA members can earn 1.5 CEUs
for attending.
