Elementary School Counselors 2nd Annual Day of Sharing

Elementary School Counselors within driving distance of Lake George, NY, are invited to attend the second annual "Day of Sharing" currently hosted by Mary Quinn and Capital District Counseling Association (CDCA).

This event is from 9 am - 2:30 pm in the Tankard Tavern Room of the Fort Wm. Henry Resort and Conference Center, 48 Canada Street, Lake George, NY.  The $30 registration fee covers coffee breaks and lunch (choice of Poached Pear and Grill Chicken Salad, Tarragon Chicken Salad or Portabella Mushroom with Mozzarella Sandwich).

NYS TESOL Volunteers Wanted

 NYS TESOL Volunteers Wanted

This year, on November 2nd & 3rd, the Annual Conference for NYS TESOL will be held in Albany. Our organization would like to offer your students in the Education Department the opportunity to attend the conference at a discounted rate. Students who are interested would have the experience of attending a major educational conference where they can learn about the most current topics surrounding English Language Learners, an ever increasing population in our schools.

To qualify for the discounted rate, we only ask that they volunteer for 2 hours. This is also a valuable experience for a pre-service teacher.

Please contact me for more information. I hope to see members of the College of St. Rose community at the conference!

Sincerely,
Patty Barry, Ed.D.
